SafeRide Mobility (Pty) Ltd ("SafeRide", "we", "our", or "us") operates in Mbombela, Mpumalanga, providing emergency dispatch technology, driver safety networks, and verification tools for independent e-hailing operators (Bolt, Uber, Maxim). By registering on our platform or utilizing our control room services, you agree to the legal terms and data privacy mandates outlined below.

🔒 Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) Policy

In compliance with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), SafeRide Mobility is committed to safeguarding the personal and telemetry data of all registered drivers and verifying passengers.

Information Collected: We collect driver names, contact numbers, PSIRA WhatsApp emergency numbers, vehicle registration plates, VIN numbers, and real-time GPS telemetry coordinates during active shifts.
Purpose of Collection: Data is strictly utilized for instant PSIRA private security dispatch during SOS emergencies, Night Shift Check-In verifications, and membership billing validations.
Data Sharing & Third Parties: Driver location data and vehicle identifiers are shared exclusively with contracted PSIRA-registered armed response partners and licensed short-term insurance underwriters (for Tier 3 Ultimate Shield members). We do not sell or monetize personal data to third-party marketers.
Data Security: All digital records, tokenized payment references, and local storage logs are encrypted and maintained securely in compliance with South African data governance standards.

🚨 Emergency Dispatch & Liability Waiver

SafeRide Mobility acts as a technology communications bridge connecting independent e-hailing drivers with private security dispatch networks.

                Disclaimer: While SafeRide provides rapid PSIRA dispatch protocols, physical response times depend on third-party tactical security providers and live cellular/GPS network availability across Mbombela. SafeRide shall not be held liable for delayed armed response times caused by force majeure, network outages, or inaccurate GPS signals.
            

🚗 Tier 3: Ultimate Shield Insurance Terms

Drivers subscribed to **Tier 3 Ultimate Shield (R599/mo)** receive partnered underwritten vehicle theft and hijacking claim protection:

Underwriting Partnership: Insurance claim payouts and risk underwriting are provided by our licensed FSCA-approved short-term insurance partners. SafeRide facilitates policy linkage and rapid SVR (Stolen Vehicle Recovery) coordination.
Driver Obligations: Members must ensure accurate submission of their vehicle VIN, engine number, and market value. Failure to report stolen or hijacked incidents within the mandated insurer window may void claim eligibility.

⚠️ Driver Code of Conduct & Compliance Fines

To maintain the integrity of the SafeRide network and protect all members in Mbombela, drivers are subject to operational guidelines:

Drivers must maintain active subscription payments and respond to Night Shift Check-In prompts.
The admin control room reserves the right to issue non-compliance penalties or fines (e.g., R250) for false alarms, unverified plates, or failure to maintain required safety states.
SafeRide reserves the right to suspend or cancel the membership and remove any driver found violating safety standards or engaging in unauthorized passenger transport flags.
